During my time at SuperGenius Studio, I was tasked with sculpting, modeling, texturing, and designing various assets for the Oculus Rift and their customizable avatars. These assets included everything from sweaters, dresses, hats, scarves and sunglasses, to hair accessories, hairstyles, and hair textures. These assets were often developed in a series of themed collections, including sci-fi armor, 1920s fashion, and a boho-chic line of women's shirts.
Assets are textured at 2k, are VR-ready, optimized for the Rift, in a PBR workflow.
All assets are modeled with four levels of detail, to ensure maximum performance.

PROGRAMS USED: 3DS MAX, Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Marmoset Viewer, Unity Engine

Flapper and men's golf inspired stylings were a lot of fun to implement and create. I especially enjoyed the process of texturing the dazzling dress details, headband, and brooch on the cloche hat.

Themed collections allow players to express themselves through not only fashion preferences or personal style,
but a procured interest in fantasy and science fiction as well.

For this particular set, I was tasked with creating four unique "ugly sweater" designs for the holidays; I designed one for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and a non-denominational winter-themed Oculus sweater. To see more assets from that update, click here.
